SWIX FIBERTEX VIOLET MED COURSE

Built for ski and snowboard maintenance, the Swix Fibertex Violet Med Coarse is commonly used after stone grinding, edge work, or heavy skiing sessions where the ski base begins to look dry, gray, or fuzzy. Unlike standard sandpaper, Fibertex works by deburring and polishing the surface while preserving the structure underneath. The violet medium-coarse grade is more aggressive than the white fine version, making it ideal for reopening oxidized bases and removing excessive polyethylene microhairs before applying wax. Tuners typically attach the pad to a rectangular or oval brush, then work the base repeatedly until the gray oxidation layer disappears and the structure looks clean and refreshed.
