SWIX FIBERTEX SOFT ABRASIVE

Built for ski tuners, race technicians, and serious winter athletes, the Swix Fibertex Soft Abrasive helps refine ski bases after waxing or structuring by removing microscopic “microhairs” that slow glide performance. Unlike standard sandpaper, Fibertex works gently by deburring and polishing rather than aggressively cutting into the base material. It is commonly used on new skis, freshly stone-ground skis, or as a final finishing step after using coarser grey or violet Fibertex pads. The result is a smoother, cleaner base structure that improves glide consistency and wax absorption while helping skis feel faster and more controlled on snow.
