The Steppe is a "workhorse" fixed blade that bridges the gap between a rugged outdoor tool and a compact everyday carry. • D2 Tool Steel & Slicer Grind: The blade is crafted from D2 high-carbon tool steel, a material highly regarded for its wear resistance and ability to hold a sharp edge through repetitive cutting tasks. The "slicer grind" ensures that despite its thickness, the blade passes through material with minimal resistance.
• Full-Tang & Skeletonized Frame: For maximum durability, the steel runs the entire length of the knife. A unique feature of the Steppe is that the outer polypropylene/TPR handle scales are removable. This reveals a skeletonized steel frame, allowing you to:
