The Composite Blade "Secret Sauce"

• Bohler N690 (Blade Spine): This Austrian steel is positioned on the upper portion of the blade. It is highly valued for its exceptional corrosion resistance and stability. By using N690 for the spine, Kershaw ensures the knife remains structurally sound and resistant to the elements.
• CPM D2 (Cutting Edge): This high-performance tool steel is used for the business end of the knife. D2 is famous for its incredible wear resistance and toughness, meaning it will hold a razor-sharp edge through heavy use far longer than standard stainless steels.
