ROSSIGNOL W RALLYBIRD 90 W/XP10 2003-2004

The engineering behind this ski is focused on "confident consistency," blending traditional wood craftsmanship with modern vibration dampening. By combining an adaptable rocker profile with a high-stability core, this design aims to provide a "lively" yet controlled experience across the entire mountain whether you are carving through morning corduroy or navigating late-afternoon "variable" conditions.

Key Performance Technologies:

  • All Trail Sidecut: This geometry features a wider nose and a straighter profile behind the binding. It is designed to engage the edge earlier in the initiation of your turn, providing immediate "bite," while the straighter tail offers the strength and stability needed to exit a carve without washing out.
  • Extended Poplar Wood Core: Utilizing PEFC™ Certified wood from sustainably managed forests, this core extends further into the tip to increase torsional stability. The result is a ski that maintains superior snow contact and control even when the terrain becomes firm or icy.
  • Damp Tech Inserts: Located in both the tip and tail, these inserts are specifically engineered to absorb high-frequency vibrations. By "smoothing out" the feedback from difficult terrain, Damp Tech reduces leg fatigue and allows the ski to remain composed at higher speeds.
  • Early Rise Rocker: The slight lift in the nose makes the ski significantly more agile and maneuverable. This profile allows the ski to "pivot" easily in tight spots (like trees or bumps) and helps the tip float over soft snow and crud rather than digging in.
